Sustainable Garden Booklet

Your Sustainable Garden booklet has been designed to provide you with local information and inspiration to create a beautiful garden that respects your local environment.

This booklet provides general sustainable gardening information applicable to any garden; garden design, garden maintenance, garden health, product selection, habitat gardening, local plants, garden escapees and kids in the garden.  

There is also a list of local resources such as indigenous  nurseries, environmental groups and useful websites.

Need some help with growing food at home? The Home Harvest booklet explains how to grow your own delicious fresh food. It contains information on planning and building your food garden including tips on: soil, fertilisers, compost, worm farming, mulch, pest management, companion planting and keeping chickens along with much more.
