Have your say on the proposed Council Plan
The proposed Council Plan 2017-2021 (Year 2) was presented to Council for consideration at its meeting on Monday 9 April 2018.
Council resolved that the proposed Council Plan 2017-2021 (Year 2) will be Banyule’s council plan as required by Section 125 and 126 of the Local Government Act 1989.
The opportunity to lodge formal submissions to the Proposed Council Plan and Budget is now open and will close on 9 May 2018 at 5pm.
Printed copies are available for viewing at our Customer Service Centres.
The proposed Council Plan 2017-2021 (Year 2) sets the strategic direction for Council and works together with the proposed Budget 2018/19.
Current Council Plan
Our Council Plan 2017-2021 was adopted by Council on 26 June 2017 and sets Council’s priorities and direction over four years. It helps guide the services we provide to residents and the broader Banyule community. The Council Plan is required by Section 125 of the Local Government Act 1989.
The Council Plan is reviewed and updated each year after comprehensive consultation with the community, councillors and staff to ensure we continue to deliver the most appropriate community services and projects.
