Maternal and Child Health

Maternal and Child Health can again offer centre-based consultations for children from birth to 3.5 years. We will continue to offer tele-health appointments if your preference is not to attend the centre, or if you or your child are unwell. We will send appointment reminders about your appointments including the time and centre to attend.

Please wear a face mask when you attend a centre consultation. Children under 12 are not required to wear covering, but parents and guardians are.

We provide a free service for all families with children from birth to school age.

We can help you understand if your child is healthy and their development is on track, check your health, give you breastfeeding tips, connect you with other new parents, listen and refer you to other services.

Your Maternal and Child Health (MCH) nurse is a friendly face and a health and wellbeing expert. If you are new to the area and have children between birth and 4 years, we would like to hear from you. Please contact us on 9457 9990 to make an appointment
