Carols by Candlelight 2016


Get into the spirit of Christmas and enjoy Banyule's very own Carols by Candlelight at Ivanhoe Park.
This family friendly event is hosted by Matt Hetherington and is guaranteed to delight old and young with an array of activities and entertainment.

Access and Inclusion at 2016 Carols by Candlelight.

We are committed to providing events that are accessible and inclusive to Banyule’s diverse community. Providing good accessibility at outdoor events can be challenging but we have tried to provide features to make the event more accessible. The following map provides details of the layout of the venue.

Features include:

Audio hearing Loop – To assist those with hearing aids or limited hearing.

Toilets – 2 accessible toilets are available on site.

Car drop off zone – To assist those with limited mobility that may be dropped off at the site.

Parking – please note there is limited designated accessible parking on site. 1 space is provided on Lower Heidelberg Road. Regular on street parking is available in nearby streets.

Accessible seating areas – Access onto the oval is limited due to a steep slope however seating areas on flatter ground is available near the Lower Heidelberg Road entrance. This is not allocated or reserved so people are encouraged to arrive early to secure an ideal spot.

Hearing protection - Hearing protection will be available to loan for free from the customer service tent. Ear plugs are available also.
