Older Adults Art Exhibition 2018

Engaging with Ageing - Past, Present and Future

Engaging with Ageing - Past, Present and Future

This exhibition was part of Council’s Seniors Month celebrations, and is inspired by the goals set out in Council’s Older Adults Strategic Plan. The  Engaging with Ageing Art Exhibition brings together the works of older people in Banyule who have found great satisfaction in expressing their hopes, fears, dreams and experiences through art.

We are pleased to showcase the broad range of artistic talents and different perspectives of older adults and offers an opportunity to share their achievements with friends, family, and the wider community.  The exhibition focuses on the artist's journey, and sometimes the destination, as an older person. We hope that through this exhibition, we have offered an opportunity for older people to be engaged with, to participate in, and to share with others in the community.
