Olympia Ward By-Election - 5 March 2011

Following the resignation of Councillor Anthony Carbines from Council on 3 December, a by-election for Olympia Ward was held on Saturday, 5 March 2011 by attendance voting.

On Sunday, 6 March at 6.00pm, the election results for the Olympia Ward by-election were declared by the Returning Officer from the Victorian Electoral Commission (VEC).  Craig Langdon was declared the successful candidate and was sworn into Office by the CEO in front of members of the public and staff.

Craig Langdon will represent Olympia Ward until the next Council elections in November 2012.
