Infant/child sleep is often at the top of the list of challenges experienced after the birth of a child. These Parent Education sessions offered by Banyule City Council Maternal and Child Health Service are designed to help parents better understand how infants develop emotionally and physically. This also helps parents to better design sleep and settling strategies best suited to their families. You don't have to have a child who has sleeping difficulties to attend this program, but if you do it's a must.

This video is all about communication. It allows parents with young infants to understand routine guidelines, baby body language, settling techniques and helps them respond to their baby's developmental needs.
Jennifer Keyte from the Channel 7 news department narrates the educational video, whose content is from courses offered each week through the Council's Maternal and Child Health program.
