Who do you call if you notice a faulty street light?
All street lights within Banyule are maintained by the electricity suppliers. Path lights in Council's laneways, parks and reserves are maintained by Council. Lights in car parks associated with railway stations are maintained by Connex.
AGL generally supplies power and maintains Ivanhoe, Eaglemont, Heidelberg, Rosanna, Viewbank and Yallambie areas while TRUenergy supplies and maintains Lower Plenty, Montmorency, Greensborough, Eltham North, Watsonia and Bundoora areas.

If you have a street light in your area that is faulty, please phone the company responsible for your area.

Lights in Council's laneways, parks and reserves that are faulty can be reported to Council on 9490 4222.
Additional Lighting Requests
For additional lighting requirements contact Council either in writing to PO Box 51, Ivanhoe 3079 or by email enquiries@banyule.vic.gov.au with details and an officer will investigate the request.
If additional lighting is considered to be appropriate, Council will arrange for a lighting company to install lights as required.
