Banyule is home to a wide range of sporting and recreation facilities.

Greensborough Outdoor Pool

The pool is open!

Over summer the Greensborough Outdoor Pool will be running the following programs:

  • Aqua adventures every Tuesday and Thursday
  • Summer Kidz (Vicswim Intensive swimming program)

Low patronage:
November 2 2009 - December 15 2009
February 1 2010 - April 2010

Weekdays: 6.00am - 9.30am and 3.00pm - 6.00pm
Weekends: 12.00pm - 6.00pm

High patronage:
December 15 - January 31

Weekdays: 6.00am - 6.00pm
Weekends: 12.00pm - 6.00pm

 

 

Ivanhoe Public Golf Course

Ivanohe Golf Course offers a high quality golfing experience for golfers of all standards.  Recent extensive remodelling of the course has achieved a gently undulating 18-hole layout and exceptional playing conditions.

Private Tuition and equipment hire is available from the pro shop. 

The hilltop clubhouse (the former Chelsworth Manor) offers outstanding views of both the Yarra Valley and the city skyline.  The cafe provides for casual indoor and outdoor eating.  A function room is available for small to medium size meetings, functions and workshops. 

Access to the carpark is via The Boulevard, Ivanhoe.

Watsonia Indoor Pool

This indoor, heated 25 metre pool is the home of the Yarra Plenty Swim Club and provides lessons, squad training and water therapy classes.

Public lap swimming is available at specified times. Phone for a timetable.
