Environmental sustainability grants

Sports Development Grants

The Sports Development Grants have been developed to assist individuals and teams who are striving to participate in their chosen sport. Click here for more information on development grants and to download the relevant documents.

Accessible Communities Grant - FAHCSIA (Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs)

The Accessible Communities Grant has enabled projects that centre around the built environment and locations frequented by older adults and people with disabilities. These initiatives would see improved access for these groups when attending workshops and weekly programs. To find out more information about the grant click here.

Banyule Community Development Grants 2013 Funding Round

Banyule City Council invites applications from community groups, non-profit organisations and individuals for the 2013 Community Development Grant funding round. 

Council is seeking applications that address community need and support Council objectives as identified in the City Plan 2013-2017.  Council has identified 5 key objectives in its City Plan: People, Planet, Place, Participation and Performance.

Facility & Resource Subsidy Grants

Council has a diverse range of community centres, halls and venues, and two community buses available for hire which cater for a range of functions, meetings, special events and social gatherings.

Council recognises that the rental fees associated with their hire can sometimes limit opportunities for groups to access these facilities and resources.

The Banyule Greensborough RSL Trust was established in 2010 as a partnership between Banyule City Council and the Greensborough RSL, for the purpose of providing funds to community groups and non profit organisations through an annual grants round.

Montmorency Eltham RSL Trust Fund 2013 Grant round

The Banyule Montmorency - Eltham RSL Trust was established in 2011 as a partnership between Banyule City Council and the Montmorency - Eltham RSL, for the purpose of providing funds to community groups and non profit organisations through an annual grants round.
