Carols by Candlelight

Warm up your vocal chords and get into the festive spirit with the ever-popular Carols by Candlelight as it returns to Ivanhoe Park for 2015.

Date:          Saturday 12 December Ivanhoe Park, 
              The Boulevard, Ivanhoe East 
Time:          6.30pm - Pre-show entertainment and activities
                    7.30pm - 9.30pm - Stage show

This year’s show will feature MC and soprano singer - Ali McGregor, Angelina Ballerina, The Australian Children’s Choir, The Diamond Valley Brass Band, local performers, kid’s entertainment, great food, art workshops and special guests all performing your favourite Christmas songs.

Come and visit Santa’s reindeer animal farm, and make some Christmas crafts before settling in for an evening of singing and fun!

Food will be available to purchase on the evening.  In 2015 we welcome the following vendors to Carols by Candlelight:
The Bean Master
Deep Ocean
Pizza to U
The Churro Bar 
The Pink Flamingo
Turkish Gozleme

Access and Inclusion at 2015 Carols by Candlelight.

We are committed to providing events that are accessible and inclusive to Banyule’s diverse community. Providing good accessibility at outdoor events can be challenging but we have tried to provide features to make the event more accessible. The following map provides details of the layout of the venue.

Features include:

 Audio hearing Loop – To assist those with hearing aids or limited hearing.

Toilets – 2 accessible toilets are available on site.

Car drop off zone – To assist those with limited mobility that may be dropped off at the site.

Parking – please note there is limited designated accessible parking on site. 1 space is provided on Lower Heidelberg Road. Regular on street parking is available in nearby streets.

Accessible seating areas – Access onto the oval is limited due to a steep slope however seating areas on flatter ground is available near the Lower Heidelberg Road entrance. This is not allocated or reserved so people are encouraged to arrive early to secure an ideal spot.
